Are the Murphy Bed mechanisms difficult to install?
Our systems are designed for the DIY enthusiast. Each kit includes a comprehensive step-by-step manual and access to video tutorials. Most installations can be completed in a few hours with basic household tools.
What size mattress can I use with your bed systems?
Our Murphy Beds are compatible with standard North American mattress sizes, including Twin, Full/Double, and Queen. We recommend a mattress thickness of no more than 12 inches to ensure the unit closes properly.
What is your shipping policy for large furniture items?
We offer free curbside shipping on all bed systems within the contiguous United States. Due to the size of the crates, items are shipped via LTL freight and typically arrive within 7-14 business days.
Do the wall beds come with a warranty?
Yes, all Murphy Bed Systems hardware kits come with a limited lifetime warranty on the piston lift mechanism and a 5-year warranty on the wooden cabinetry components against manufacturing defects.
Can the bed be moved once it has been installed?
Yes, our systems can be disassembled and reinstalled in a new location. However, because they must be securely anchored to wall studs for safety, you will need to patch the previous mounting holes and ensure proper anchoring in the new space.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy for items in their original, unopened packaging. Please note that due to the weight and size of these products, customers are responsible for return freight shipping costs and a restocking fee may apply.
